Reading: This week, we are continuing our new reading unit, Bigger Books Mean Amping up Reading Power. We will begin reading goal book clubs. We are working on fluency, figurative language, and keeping track of longer books.
Language Arts/Phonics: Language Arts: In reading and language arts we are working on figurative language. Math 3.2: We are working on Third Grade, unit 4. We are working on unit fractions as well as perimeter and area. We will learn about place value to the nearest 10 and 100 as well as adding to 1,000. Math 3.2: We are working on Third Grade, unit 4 Geometry-Classifying shapes and classifying them by their attributes.
